I think that if we start pulling all of the troops out now that the government we have been working hard to establish will fall into pieces and all of that hard work will go down the drain. (But the video was really funny)

I found this very interesting... I’m in full support of the operations that are currently undergoing in Iraq, but I would have to agree with Jon Stewart in the fact that a democracy being established immediately is not the best possible answer. The people of Iraq have lived under Authoritarian rule for far too long, and suddenly a surplus of freedoms isn’t going to help. You have to change and adapt slowly, not within a years time.

My favorite part of this clip was how the studio audience seemed to get more and more quiet as Mr. Kristol made some very conclusive arguements. Even Mr. Stewart seemed to back down when he started to lose ground. It's nice to see a conservative writer that doesn't just use scare tactics, but gets his point across clearly and conclusively. Very good clip.

lol the best part about that clip was the dudes laugh. hehe. well i personally beleive that if we pull out anytime soon, then this whole idea of building a democracy for somebody who doesnt want it will fail, how ever... if we pull out years from now, there wont be much of a difference.

Bush will not go down in history as a President who has done any good for this Country, unless in the next few months of his term, he will be able to fix the mess he created in Iraq, pull out the Guns and start using other means of persuasion and reasoning to create Peace in the Middle East, and raise this Country out of the economic slum that we are in. Although this is probably not going to happen i stay optimistic and hope for the best. I don't know what the heck kristal was smoking when he was talking about the “success” of your current President, or maybe he was just in the mood for lying to himself
