I think that it's amazing that Obama not only got much of the black vote, which many probably expected, but he even has 40% of the white vote. I think that Obama may be the next president because he has the varieties of support.

I am not surprised that Obama carried the male vote, nor Hillary the female vote. What I do find most interesting is that Obama also carried the white male vote, along with the African American vote, which leads me to think the men are voting based on gender affiliation. If that is the case, then this, at least for the Democratic Party, will be the primary of the sexes, rather than race, which was previously thought. Either way, the Democratic Party is eons away from the Protestant, white male lawyer candidates of the past.

From Journal Star: Sen. Barack Obama will bring his Democratic presidential campaign to Nebraska on Thursday. Obama will address a late afternoon rally at Omaha Civic Auditorium two days before Nebraska Democrats vote in their first-ever presidential caucuses. The old downtown auditorium at 18th and Capitol Avenue can accommodate 11,000 people with arena seating and is preparing for an overflow crowd. Doors will open at 3:30 p.m. Spectators are urged to arrive early.

Senator Hillary Clinton just injected 5 million dollars of her own, personal money into her campaign. What does this mean? Well, I will tell you. It means that my boy Barack has more support than ever and Clinton finally sees it after the results of Super Tuesday. Seems to me that she is getting a little bit worried, and she should be.

I do believe that Obama is not getting votes just because he is black and that Clinton is not getting votes because she is a woman. The thing that concerns me is that the percentage of people voting just to say they voted and who do not pay attention to issues may be voting based solely on what their personal opinions of the candidate as a person are instead of what the candidate stands for

Although, I have much support for mr. Big O, I find that Isaac's point is really arguable. I mean, didn't senator Clinton win the delegates part. Well she is so far. Maybe she didn't pour the money into her campaign because she's worried. Maybe she's confident and now has decided to back it up.

I agree with metal head.

If you watch any news reports at night, you would notice they repeatedly guess at which candidate will win the support of which states. This is a given when covering any election. I've observed a specific trend concerning republican dominated states-for example, NE. It appears that these states are more likely to support the more liberal democrat, Obama. This just shows me that people dislike Clinton enough, that they will support any candidate, even if their stance is farther from their personal viewpoints.

i dont believe that, as metal head said, barack isnt getting votes because he is black and hillary isnt getting votes because she is a woman.
I believe that they are getting votes and the fact that they are the only two democrats left proves it.
