I noticed that this post about Sexual Harassment has been on here for quite some time and has had no comments. Probably because it's a touchy subject for most, it's sad really. Very sad that these women are subjected to this in the military by the very same men who are supposed to protect me and you and America's sons and daughters, I think that's what really makes it so disturbing. I feel for these women, I do. There's not much I can say about this, it's a one-sided case, it's wrong and there's NO way you can justify this.

I am enraged. Since 2002 the Miles Foundation has reported over 976 sexual harassment charges, with a 10-15% increase from quarter to quarter. Why don't the American people know about this? Why aren't things being done?
It is just incomprehensible that in the "land of the free" military women are subjected to such heinous acts, and yet it’s almost expected. Perhaps that's why the majority of the commanders of the assailants only take administrative action and not court marshal as they should. Something needs to be done, more people need to be aware and punishments need to be worse than just a letter of reproof.
