Americans Prefer Obama on Taxes

Taxes, Taxes, Taxes! Is that all we care about? Maybe not all, but definitely an issue most of us care about. Interesting results. Who do you think this poll favors?

I think the poll makes it seem like it comes down to this: if you definitely don't want taxes to rise, vote for McCain, but if you want the overall economy of America to get better, vote for Obama. My own assumption regarding taxes is that McCain will stick to whatever Bush did, and being conservative, will be afraid to change too much. Obama will actually make some changes, and we'll just have to find out if they are good changes or bad. At this point, I'm not sure which method sounds like it will be the most successful, though I am leaning toward the need for something new.

I am starting to get really tired of all my fellow classmates going on about Obama. Has any one else noticed that he says the word change like 5 times in a sentence and just states problems? Well another thing I am tired of is people assuming that just because McCain is republican that he will be just like Bush, that is an extremely close minded statement. So far McCain is the only one to offer viable solutions on problems today like taxes. Obama just spouts that he is going to tax the rich and provide for the needy which seems slightly socialist to me. If you actually look at what Obama views and wealthy you will find out that it is the average american making enough to live a normal life. My parents have actually said to me that if he becomes president and his tax bill gets approved that we would actually make more money if my mom quit her job and even after that my life would go from comfortable to slightly making it work. I am just a little confused as to how he says that he's doing this for us when he basically takes another chunk of our income probably putting more families in poverty which is in fact another thing he promises to fix, I just hope its not like his tax plan.
