I don't know how you can be an American and go to sleep at night knowing that your party put this crap on TV. What purpose is this serving? If the purpose was to demoralize American troops then good job because you've succeeded.
I also love how you took what McCain was saying totally out of context. It's been 63 years since WWII, and 55 since Korea, and our military is still in Germany, Japan, and Korea. McCain wasn't saying that we would be fighting a war for 50 or a 100 more years, but was just acknowleging that the US might have a military presence in the Middle East until peace is assured and possibly long afterward.
