Wow! That is like hard for me to imagine a country losing population. A lot of countries are struggling with having to much population. Countries like china. In China you are only allowed to have limited number of children and people want boys because the boys are the ones that take care of the parents the daughters are married off, the boys are the ones that carry on the family name. And in Russia they are not having enough children.

This entire series was an amazing eye opener. Russia is suffering from a decreasing population, but still hangs on to stubborn racist views even though it hurts the country in the end. They need people so badly, but are forcing the Turks to leave. I'm glad America is allowing them in, but it seems suprising to me that we can, especially with the whole immigration problem right now.

I don't understand how people find it hard for racism and a decreasing population to exist, especially in a place where people ONLY look out for themselves and have absolutely no concern for others. Corruption, no checks and balances, a managed democracy, all factors for a bad place to live, and well, Russia sure does fit the model.

I think this clip shows how some people don't place free markets or capitalism or democracy in general on the high pedastool that Americans view it on. The economic crash after the decline of communism is ruining their country. I understand how people liked being controlled because back then their quality of life was much better compared to now.

It's amazing to think they have a mortality rate of a third world country, but the birth rate is quite high.

Russia is a very sick country. Abortions outnumbering live births? The fact that conditions exist where such circumstances could result is terrible. Score one for the feminists who want every women to have "reproductive rights." See what great results that brings.
