To be honest, I was pulling for McCain vs Obama in the presidential election. Hopefully McCain will be on top, but it is also good to have someone you like of the opposite party in America. Obama seemed like a good person. He motivated much of America and that showed great leadership in my mind at the time.

But then this whole Rev. Wright fiasco started. Now I do not really care where people attend church. But when the leader of a church begins to say "God 'bring evil to' America," (I changed one word to 3 words...) I have a problem. And when Obama has been going to this guy's church for the past 20 years and wrote about how this person has influenced his life, I begin to question Obama's patriotism.

I have learned how religion influences everyone. And after listening to 20 years of this pastor, I bet some of his ideas were rubbed off onto Obama.

J.K. Rowling wrote "It is the choices we make that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities." There is no doubt that Obama is one of a million in giving speeches. He will be up there and taught in English classes. Not a doubt in my mind. But he made poor decisions which shows poor judgment. The United States' president makes very important decisions that impact the world. I do not trust Obama to make the right choice for a very important decision.

He can deny hearing anti-American stuff from Rev. Wright all he wants. He could put all the American flags in the world behind him on stage during his speeches. But it would not matter. Maybe he denied hearing anit-American stuff because he heard it and believed it. To his ears, it was probably not anti-American, which scares the jeepers out of me. I fear Obama. I fear what could happen to America he was president.

And so I have decided that I personally would rather see McCain vs Hilary. Yes, I would rather see McCain on top. But Hilary, I feel, is the better person over Obama. And if McCain lost, I would like knowing there is at least a patriotic American in the Oval Office. Hilary does not scare me; we just disagree on issues.
