Sarah Palin is kind of like McCain's Saving Grace. Before she was selected as his running mate, he was at least 3 points down in the polls, but the republican convention where Palin spoke shot him up on the polls. Her speaking ability might be what wins McCain this election.
I agree with charles of the one horn. Sarah Palin's speech excellence rating being higher even than Obama's pushed the republicans ahead of the democrats, and if she can keep it up and if McCain steps it up a little they could get their party members moving a little bit more and win this thing.
