Change and Experience Labels Still Stick

Why are you supporting either Barack Obama or John McCain?

At this time in the campaign I would have to say that I support John McCain, especially after the debate last week. He seems more ready to lead our country in the situation we are in with Iraq and the economy. He seems like a strong leader that will stand up for what he and the American people see is right for our country in the long run. Obama just doesn't seem ready at this time to lead our country and I think that the country would actually get itself into a worse situation under Obama.

I think this just goes to show how little people know about Obama and his views. 40% of his supporters support him becuase he promises change?? do they realize that if they were put in office they would bring change too it just wouldnt be good change. Anyone can bring change but Obama is not able to bring the right kind of change.

While on McCain's supporters' side the percentage was marginally small, I think it's interesting that Obama's supporters don't simply list "party loyalty" as a top reason for their vote.
I'm glad to see that this trend is on the decline, because to vote for a party simply out of some absurd "loyalty" is a terrible waste of a vote.
