CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE! HOPE HOPE HOPE ! RHETORIC RHETORIC RHETORIC! FALSE FALSE FALSE...Come on people. Really? Do you think that you are going to elect a brand new, fresh face and magically CHANGE everything instantly?! Are you that naive? NEWS FLASH. Reform happens over time, and no matter how much you HOPE for it, that fact will never CHANGE.

The reason young voters are supporting Obama is because they haven't done research on the candidates. They go for the one with the most popularity that boasts the most change ( not that I'm not an Obama supporter) The older generation has aknowledged McCain's struggle with the republican party and his early years as a soldier.

how about NObama... lol. Every single speech Obama gives is only rhetoric.....ONLY!!!!!! I don't see how a guy who passes a note saying "shoot me now" while in a congress meeting will make a good president.

Yes every single Obama speech is rhetoric but the average ordinary American citizen has no idea what rhetoric is and his speeches are working because the people dont realize they are being "played" by Obama's use of rhetoric. If it gets the people to vote for you, then use it. the argument can be made that Martin Luther King Jr's speeches were based on rhetoric too and look what he was able to achieve. Rhetoric is a weapon Obama can use to appeal to the average citizen and if you have a weapon that the other side doesnt, then, trust me, you are going to use it.
