Barrack Obama scares me a little to be honest. I worry about the existance of America with him as president. He says he wants to fight Al Qaeda. He also says he wants to pull out of the middle east. I am asking myself, where then, Mr. Obama, do you propose we fight them? This is a question NONE of the democrats have been able to answer. The republicans have. They say that we will fight them in the middle east.

With all the talk the democrats have about the war, I am asuming they want to fight terrorists on our soil. So I ask myself, do I want to fight terrorists in my neighborhood or do I want to fight terrorists in the middle east? This is sooo hard to answer. What a perfect opportunity to exercise our right to bear arms.

It seems we all give President George W. Bush grief. We seem to forget that the American people voted for him just like we voted for former President Bill Clinton. But I think Bush has done a decent job. Since 9/11, I haven't seen a terrorist attack on our soil. I go to bed at night and I do not think about terrorists attacks because I know that while Bush is president, there ain't gonna' be a terrorist attack on our soil.

But I wonder about the democrats. They really scare me. Mr. Obama said that we need to not give into fear. But to be honest, I fear having a democrat as president more than a republican right now. In fact, the republicans don't scare me at all. I at least know there won't be any terrorist attacks in America.

what sets obama apart from the rest of the candidates is his willingness to bring truth in what he says to the american people instead of what the american people want to hear. Although i don't agree with all of what he says, I do feel that Obama could be fit to be president if he sticks to some of the major ideas he brings forth.

I agree with porkchop on this. It was a great speech, and I personally love Obama, if I was old enough and was the Democratic candidate I'd vote for him, hands down. I think what America needs is someone to tell the truth and to be honest with us and to tell it like it is, even if some times it's not what we always want to hear.

As for wild wx man, just like you said that we give Bush grief, well I don't think you give Obama a chance. Personally I am sick and tired of talk about Al Qaeda and the Iraq war.
