Although I don't necessarily agree with Ron Paul, I do think he does a good job of telling you exactly what he thinks. This is going to both lose him votes and gain him votes. He doesn't try to manipulate the people like many other candidates.

However, he still is probably not electable because his views are are definately different than the majority of the voters in his party. Republicans generally don't feel we should immediately pull out of the war. If he wants to be President, he needs to focus more on protecting our freedoms and balancing the budget, issues where he can craw Republican voters, rather than talking about Iraq.

Okay, first off, what is it with the old candidates who just sit there in front of the camera and look like they're reading from a teleprompter?

But on to the commercial itself, although I think that our troops should be taken out of Iraq, to do it right now, and to say in your campaign is a little naive to say the least. The truth of the matter is I highly doubt our troops are leaving Iraq any time soon.

Ron Paul is awesome. He is my favorite candidate. To bad he will never get elected because the media shuts him out. I agree spot on with most of his ideas.

As for him just sitting there... well Ron Paul is a straight forward guy and that commercial suits him perfectly. I think it would be great if he was elected but he will not because of the media and lack of traditional Republican ideas.

Oh well.... Go Ron Paul for 08!!!!
