This is the second Senator that has bashed on Hilary for not having a solid belief on issues during the campaign. Personally I believe that a candidates beliefs influence a their decisions greatly. If she can't even make the simple decision of where she stands, than how is she going to be able to decide what is best for the people with our beliefs when she has none of her own
They are not changing their minds because they believe in what is best for America, they change their minds so that they can go with the majority. Since an overwhelming amount of people support withdrawal for Iraq, they switch their stance to where the votes are. They deserve to be called our on this. And as to Hillary, lizard is right, if the woman cannot even choose one stance on an issue she will not make a good president. America saw the same thing with Kerry. Kerry 's viewpoints on issues changed constantly; in the end it did not pay off for him, which should be the same case for these democrats who are consistently changing their viewpoints in order to get more votes now.
I'm starting to like Senator Edwards. But people seriously lay off Clinton. I agree with doris on this. They do change their minds to go with the majority, and that my friends is why it's called politics.
One thing I don't like about Hilary Clinton is her lack of integrity. Her lack of stances and flip flopping to whatever the majority wants is proof of that.
This is exactly why the democratic candidates don't always get respected in elections, because they never take a stand! Oh wait. Yeah they do. They just change their stance over and over again to "win over" the American people.
I am not sorry for wanting a president who stays true to his values. I want to know what the president will do when elected and not be concerned that his morals could change at any time. I agree with Dorris. This is the exact reason for why Sen. Kerry did not win the presidential elections. He changed his beliefs to fit whatever crowd he was speaking to. This quality is not what is needed in the White House.
I also thought that it was funny how Mr. Edwards was talking of Sen. Clinton flip-flopping. But when the crowd started booing him, he immediately took the subject to something else that he wanted to talk about and really had nothing to do with the question, but was inspirational. It was hilarious!
